Central Tube and Bar appoints new Chief Operating Officer

CONWAY, Ark., February 14, 2018 – Central Tube and Bar, a valued-added distributor and processor of tube, bar, and other metal products, has appointed Eric Chambers to the role of Chief Operating Officer. After 20 years of experience in the tube and bar industry at Central Tube and Bar, Chambers will lead operations and direct the company’s finance and administrative functions.

Chambers was previously the Director of Business Development & Marketing at Central Tube and Bar and oversaw the strategic operation of marketing and customer relationships. Jeff Bramlett has also been appointed to Business Systems Analyst and will be responsible for analyzing all facets of CTB’s operational and financial functions as well as new markets.

“Eric has been an asset to Central Tube and Bar since he started in the warehouse operations in 1999. He has been promoted from within, working in almost all departments throughout his tenure with our company, including as a tube laser operator” says Dustin Ward, President of Central Tube and Bar. “Eric brings extensive knowledge to our executive team that allows us to better serve our customers for the long term.”

Central Tube and Bar’s commitment to promoting from within has been a vital part of the success and growth the company has seen over the last 20 years of business. Promoting from within allows the company to overcome manufacturing skill gaps that experts anticipate will affect industrial markets in the next 3 to 5 years.
